KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities are:
- Ensure that proper month end closure procedures for inventory.
- Preparing stock reconciliation and adjustments memos to ensure that they are accurate and booked in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and ensure that regular stock takes are carried out at all stock locations in line with company policy and reconciliations done.
- Maintain approved stock take counts to be maintained in file and soft copies scanned for records.
- Maintain accurate product cost in ERP system by ensuring that all product costs are always included in.
- Ensure that all assigned reconciliations are made in a timely manner by the 10th day of the subsequent month.
- Daily review of depots product reconciliations to ensure correct reporting of stocks position and movements.
- Stocks management by ensuring cleared products are always available and having safety cleared stock.
- Booking purchase orders, and invoices related to inventory.
- Review of transporter invoices to ensure accuracy of billing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Main qualifications are:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/ related fields.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and capable of meeting tight deadlines that may require occasionally working longer hours including weekends.
- Have analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate alternatives and make recommendations to management on business issues.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Self- driven, flexible, has a high level of integrity and a team player
