is looking for a qualified and creative candidate to fill the full-time position of Social Media Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities are

• The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Manage the creation and publishing of relevant, original, and high-quality content.
• Develop and maintain a regular content publishing schedule.
• Promote content through social media advertising
• Create, curate, and manage published content, including images, videos, and text.
• Monitor, listen to, and respond to users across digital platforms.
• Develop and grow the station's online community.
• Oversee the look and feel of social media pages.
• Design, create, and manage promotions and social media advertising campaigns.
• Manage website and mobile app content.
• Analyse performance and prepare regular reports for management.
• Represent the company positively in social media spaces by engaging in conversations and answering questions where appropriate.
• Monitor trends in social media tools, platforms, applications, design, and strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should have:

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, WordPress, and others.
• A strong understanding of how different platforms can be used for different audiences and objectives.
• Excellent writing, language, and communication skills.
• The ability to communicate ideas effectively in written, visual, and video formats.
• Previous experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital media role.
• Graphic design skills will be an added advantage.
