Role summary
The Programs Lead
The HR and Administration Lead is responsible for overseeing the organization’s human resources and administrative functions to ensure efficient operations and a supportive working environment.;The role provides strategic and operational support to the Executive Director, strengthens internal systems, and ensures that organizational processes, people management, and administrative functions are aligned with IGI’s mission and values.;The HR and Administration Lead plays a key role in improving organizational effectiveness, supporting staff performance, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and safeguarding standards.
Key responsibilities
Key responsibilities are:
- Human Resource Management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff relations
- Administrative and Office Management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective resource management
- Executive Support, including calendar management, coordination, and communication support to the Executive Director
- Tracking and maintenance of organizational assets
- Gender, safeguarding and Compliance, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards
- Internal Systems Strengthening and process improvement
- Organizational Coordination and cross-team support
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications & Experience are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field (a Master’s degree is a plus)
- At least 3–6 years of experience in administration, HR, or operations roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
