Description
About eFiche
eFiche is a Rwanda-based digital health company building AI-enabled clinical tools for nurses and midwives across Rwanda's primary health care system. Our AI outputs — clinical decision support recommendations, risk flags, prescribing guidance, danger sign alerts — must be not only technically functional but clinically accurate, contextually appropriate, and aligned with Rwanda's national clinical guidelines. Validating this, across an expanding portfolio of clinical workflow domains, requires someone who bridges the technical and clinical worlds with equal confidence.;We are looking for a UAT & Clinical Quality Tester to own user acceptance testing at facility level and the clinical quality validation of AI outputs across all our workflow modules.
Purpose of the Role
The Full-Stack Developer contributes across both
the frontend and backend of the AI services platform, helping eFiche build, iterate, and maintain AI features across multiple clinical workflow domains simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities are:
- Develop and maintain frontend components of AI-enabled features across multiple clinical workflow modules — including decision support interfaces, transcription triggers, risk alerts, and clinical summaries
- Contribute to backend AI services as needed — API endpoints, data processing logic, output formatting — in collaboration with the AI Services Backend Engineer
- Support rapid iteration of AI features based on user feedback, QA findings, and clinical validation results from the field
- Participate in design sprints and prototyping sessions with the UX/HCD Specialist and frontline users as new workflows are onboarded
- Maintain code quality through peer review, documentation, and testing standards
- Support release cycles and deployment processes in coordination with the MLOps / Infrastructure Engineer
Required Profile
Main qualifications are:
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or equivalent) and a backend language (Node.js, Python, or equivalent)
- Experience consuming and building REST APIs
- Comfort working in agile, sprint-based environments with multiple workstreams running in parallel
- Ability to context-switch across different clinical workflow domains as new modules are onboarded
- UI/UX sensibility and willingness to iterate directly with end users
- Health tech or EMR experience is an advantage but not required
