As over 90% of our employees are women, we exist to create a world in which women’s rights and empowerment are respected and our everyday activities prioritize these.;The Human Resources Associate at Abahizi CBC will play an instrumental role in supporting the Human Resources Manager as a key person in the recruitment, training, Human Resources operations, and performance review management processes as required by the company.
Roles And Responsibilities Recruitment
Roles And Responsibilities Recruitment:
- Support the Human Resources Manager in managing the candidate recruitment life cycle for roles ensuring good candidate experience throughout the process.
- Support in developing and managing recruitment materials, such as job descriptions, job advertisements etc
- Develop and maintain the recruitment database and documentation.
- Develop onboarding plans for new hires and assist in the execution of the onboarding plans.
- Support the HR manager in identifying training and professional development needs for employees
- Coordinate employee training and development sessions including scheduling training sessions and tracking employee training records onsite.
- Evaluate impact of trainings provided
- Support HR projects and initiatives, contributing to process improvements and compliance efforts.
- Own the implementation of performance management systems for the employees, to ensure continuous feedback, goal setting, and regular check-ins and performance reviews.
- Own and manage HR operational aspects such as people-related reporting and administration of benefits (e.g., medical insurance).
- Act as an advocate for employees balanced with business goals and objectives.
- Support the Human Resources manager in the implementation of the HR policy.
- Maintain custody of updated and accurate employee general HR records in a confidential and secure manner, in full compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
- Manage employees’ missions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Support the Human Resources manager as required and provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Desired candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management, social sciences or any other related field.
- Experience of at least two years in a similar position.
- Fluent in English and Kinyarwanda. French would be a plus.
- Good understanding of the Rwandan labor law and practices.
- Experience in fostering a positive working environment.
- Experience in a diverse and inclusive work environment, and the ability to adapt to change and contribute innovative ideas.
