The Software Development Engineers

will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for LTGS Rwanda PLC. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable applications. Engineers will implement best practices in software development, ensure system performance, and contribute to innovative technology solutions that meet organizational goals

Requirements

Requirements are:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Oracle) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software development, including web, mobile, or enterprise applications. Proven ability to develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade software.
• Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Python, or Java. Knowledge of databases, APIs, version control, and software lifecycle management. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Technical Competence: Proficiency with modern frameworks (Laravel, React, Node.js, etc.), cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Personal Attributes: Innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative. Ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
