is a leading company in Rwanda’s clean cooking and energy sector, specializing in LPG distribution and innovative cooking solutions. We are expanding operations and strengthening our financial systems to support our growth and commitment to providing safe, affordable, and sustainable energy.;Through the Tekeraheza App, Yes Shop Ltd plans to raise funds to finance the distribution of one million 3kg LPG cylinders with 20mm valves over the next five years.;The Smart Cooking Management Application – Tekeraheza App is a web- and mobile-based system that digitalizes LPG distribution from stores to households by tracking each cylinder through QR code scanning at retail points, filling plants, and client level.;The app will reduce operating costs, improve efficiency, and address low LPG penetration and the frequent return to charcoal when gas runs out unexpectedly. It helps cylinder owners track their assets’ quantity, location, and movement, while enabling households to monitor usage and receive refill reminders.;Additionally, the system will enhance revenue traceability and investor confidence in the LPG sector, supporting increased investment and expanding LPG access nationwide.;These three accountants will have to prepare the project documents for grants & loans applications; organize and strengthen the company’s accounting and finance system, and build transparent financial systems to attract the investors and safeguard shareholders’ funds.
Position Overview

is recruiting three highly competent and disciplined Accountants. This role is central to our growth strategy, and we are seeking exceptional performers with proven results.;The three Accountants will manage all financial operations with precision, integrity, and strict adherence to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities are:
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, expenses)
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on time
- Ensure compliance with Rwandan tax laws, regulations, and company law
- Assist in budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis
- Support the transition to digital accounting systems (QuickBooks or equivalent)
- Provide management with timely and accurate financial analysis to guide decision-making
- Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and external partners to ensure transparency.
- Develop financial models and 5-year projections for the large-scale distribution of LPG
- cylinders
- Prepare bankable documentation for grants, concessional loans, and commercial financing
- Structure detailed cost analysis for cylinder procurement, logistics, and distribution
- Design project-specific budgets and monitor fund utilization with strict accountability
- Prepare investor-grade financial reports and performance dashboards
- Conduct cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity for rapid expansion
- Analyze financial risks related to inventory scaling and nationwide operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
- Strong knowledge of Rwandan tax laws and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Membership or eligibility for membership with ICPAR.
