The management of Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL)

informs the public that it is recruiting competent, qualified and experienced staff to fill the following position:

Job Summary

Ensure that staff/Personnel adhere

to safety measures when working on electrical installations according to EUCL electrical safety operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities are:

• Implement Safety Rules, Documentation and plan provision of PPEs across the Planning Department and Utility
• Monitor the safety performance of the Planning Department and its compliance with ALL Regulatory and Statutory Guidelines and Laws of Rwanda
• Conduct safety awareness campaigns and main streaming health and safety guidelines
• Ensure monthly reporting on safety related events in the planning Department is executed
• Propose measures to establish a culture of adherence to Safety Principles
• Inspect the worksites to ensure they are hazard-free environments and promote safe practices at worksites
• To Ensure fully awareness of EUCL staff to electrical safety operating procedures
• Review, approve and ensure the implementation of Contractors’ Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP)
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce implementation of preventive measures
• Review existing safety policies and update them where necessary
• Record, investigate and report events related to construction site incidents

Qualifications

Qualifications are:

• A0 in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, PUBLIC HEALTH, ELECTROMECHANICAL ENGINEERING, RENEWABLE ENERGY, ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING, ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY
• At least 1 year(s) in OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
