Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow up the implementation of sanitation projects.
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to the Senior Engineers and manager.
- Ensure that sanitation projects are implemented as per applicable codes, standards and regulations.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of all project activities, attend and represent WASAC development at various meetings for sanitation concerns.
- Administer the contracts and monitor the progress of projects from the beginning of implementation up to its completion.
- Ensure that the projects keep to budgets and timescales.
- Monitor the contractor's execution, invoice verification and monitor the quality of executed works.
- Participate actively in the provisional and final acceptance of completed works and provide advice accordingly.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports of the sanitation project implementation.
- Participate actively along with audits and evaluation mission and implement recommendation formulated.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to water resources engineering.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 1.Bachelor's degree in Sanitary Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water and Sanitation Engineering, Civil Engineering
- 2.A minimum experience of 3 years as Sanitation Engineer, Sanitation senior Engineer in a similar organization or busy function
